I am deeply committed to fostering a genuine interest in music with each student and ensuring that they feel a sense of fulfillment and accomplishment after lessons. I tailor my lessons to the unique interests of each individual because I believe that students thrive when engaged in activities they love. While I cover essential fundamentals in every lesson, my emphasis is on understanding and addressing the specific interests that motivated the student to embark on this learning journey.

Hybrid Lesson Option: I offer occasional in-person lessons at my local studio in Bushwick/Ridgewood, with a +$20 increase for an in-person lesson.
Why N. Russell Music Studio?
There are many places to take online music lessons. While some may offer lower costs, it often comes at the expense of lesson quality and the instructor's expertise. Many larger studios with multiple teachers adhere to standardized lesson plans without investing the necessary time to truly understand each student. In contrast, when I'm not actively teaching, I'm working on crafting and refining lesson plans, creating personalized worksheets, and searching for music that aligns with each student's interests and addresses the specific skills they can refine. I give each and every student the individual attention they deserve so they can succeed.
